What's in your golf bag? And what you should have in your golf bag?
Some of you probably won't have any idea what's in your bag apart from 14ish clubs an old crusty glove and some balls.
So I'll start off by saying what's in my bag including everything with tees balls gloves and food.
Starting with my equipment:
Driver: Titleist 915 D3 9.5 Fairway Wood: TaylorMade Mini 12 degree 2 Iron: Titleist T-MB 17 Degrees Irons: 3 And 4 Iron 714 AP-2 5-PW Titleist 714 Mbs Wedges: Titleist Vokey SM6's 50fgrind 54 s grind 58 k grind Putter: Odyssey 2Ball 34 inch with superstroke Grip Bag: Sun Mountain H2NO Waterproof Tour Bag Towel: Titleist Micro Fibre Towel Balls A dozen Pro V1 (for some reason I always keep a dozen Balls in my bag no more or less) Winter time I will use an NXT Tour S. Gloves: I keep 4 FJ Cabrettasoft and 1 mac-wet rain glove Tees: I keep a pouch of tees and a pitchfork repairer and ball marker 'line em up' and sharpie pens to mark my balls with. Waterproofs: Galvin Green Waterproof top and Trousers. Food And Drink: I keep 2 bottles of juice and jaffa cakes and maybe sneak a sausage roll in there too. It's important to keep your energy level up on the course. Other: Bushnell v3 jolt.
Now mine is probably a good bag to compare yours to as I'm a bit of a golf geek so I check my stuff regularly and make sure my stuff is in order before I play.
I think if you look in your bag the most important thing to check is your wedges the ideal set up would be 52,56,60 degree or 50,54,58 depending on what the loft of your pitching wedge is. You want even amounts of loft between each club.
I bet most of you will find out you just have a 56 and 60 so you will potentially missing out as these are your scoring clubs.
If anyone would like any help or have any queries please get in contact and I will help you.
Congratulations on our Myhill and Cullington teams who both won on Sunday and are now advancing to the next round which is on Sunday 19th June.
A great team effort on both parts.
