Mens Monthly Medal - Sunday 22nd January 

On Sunday 26 players took to the course to play in the Monthly Medal. There was one a standout performance this week from Anthony Hopes who shoot an exceptional 62 nett to take the tournament by five shots. In second was Alan Gotts with a nett 67 and Chris Langford followed in third with a nett 67 losing out on countback. We would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone that played.

A Hole in One for Jane..

Jane Watson arguably accomplished the greatest achievement in golf by recording a hole in one. 

Pictured here is Jane Watson and Sandra Cubbit. Jane had an ace on the 9th hole on Ladies Day last Thursday.

This is exciting...

There's been quite a buzz in the pro shop recently because, believe it or not, January is one of our favourite times of the year.

It's at this time of year when we get to see some exciting new product which, in the main, arrive in store in February and March. Who doesn't get a buzz when they see shiny new irons or drivers full of technology? It's not just hardware though, as we also get to see the line-up of footwear and apparel for the year ahead, as well as a sneak preview of any new balls to hit the market.
